"Volunteers don't necessarily have the time... they just have the heart."
- Elizabeth Andrew, Author
Volunteer work is an amazing way to be a part of something wonderful! As a representative of The Honeywell Foundation, our volunteers help shape the guest experience while gaining confidence and a sense of purpose.
Volunteer work among older generations has been shown to combat depression and help physical health, while younger generations find volunteer experience is viewed positively by employers and educators.
Theater Ushers & Door Greeters
Volunteers are treated to an annual Recognition Dinner. Other benefits are available, depending on the type of volunteer activity. For instance, theater ushers are able to watch Ford Theater and Eagles concerts while they assist guests! Ushers are also eligible for early ticket sales.
Volunteers must be 18 or older, have regular access to the internet, and have a working email address. Volunteers must also purchase a basic uniform at a current cost of $48.
It's easy to get involved! Applications are available online. Special training sessions are held throughout the year.
